Your OP includes assumptions at the very least"
On another thread Wywth seems to find unit prices very difficult to understand so you can make your own mind up about his contribution.
The only assumption that I can see is that VAT is to be added.
Your arithmetic seems fine [i.e. units x days x unit price + sc (another unit price) x days] - with one (silly?) mistake in the final total posted of £2249.64. I think you missed the £72.85 - so your total would be £2,322.49.
Would you agree?
Wywth might mention other factors such as discounts for payment method or on-line - but these would reduce the bill (which anyone with basic sums could calculate).
Your point seems to be that Scottish Power present a much larger £ amount of over £6,000 - with a DD that relates neither to £6,000+ nor your calculation.
Clearly there is a mis-match between your (broadly) correct calculation and the £ amounts Scottish Power forecast/DD.
Is it possible that you have misread the bill somehow. e.g.
"Your usage for the next 12 months will be £6362.87"
(Being pedantic?), a £ amount is not "usage" but a cost resulting from the usage of units (+ a SC before Wywth picks me up for imprecision).
Really??? Let's post a link to that post/thread, shall we?

Wywth If I did not answer your question to your satisfaction before I am sorry. The purpose of me posting here was to gather knowledge to enable me to resolve my dispute with Scottish Power once and for all.
Thanks to jalexa I now know something that I had missed before. That a regulation had to be passed (can anyone give me exact details) to force Energy companies to put actual units on annual statements for domestic consumers.
There is no such regulation for a micro business and that is why they dont. Perhaps the Scottish Power Rep could confirm this as there certainly are no units on our statement, unless as jalexa says it is a "unique situation".
We would change suppliers but for the debt on the account. We have to pay by direct debit because of this. The control of the amount of the direct debit is in Scottish Powers hands and as we have learned that just because you have an agreement to pay at a set rate does not mean they won't revise it downwards to a level that wont fully pay the current usage let alone the debt.
It is thanks to the likes of Moneysavingexpert.com that domestic customers dont have to suffer the same inaccurate and confusing annual statements that hard working Micro Businesses Owners endure. However perhaps we do have one option, not available to domestic customers, we can close!0 -

Standard Licence Condition 31A refers. A gas extract, electricity is similar, as is the annual statement requirement...
(c) except where a Domestic Customer has held their domestic Supply Contract for less than 12 months –
(i) the quantity of gas supplied to the Domestic Customer’s Domestic Premises during the previous 12 months; and
(ii) an illustrative projection of the cost in pounds sterling of the quantity of gas supplied to the Domestic Customer’s Domestic
Premises for the forthcoming 12 months assuming those premises are supplied with the same quantity of gas as during the previous 12 months.

Sandybanks I am finding out about consumption data for Microbusiness annual statements and will get back to you on this point. I'm still happy to look at fixing your account in the first instance and also addressing any wider issues if these exist. I'm concerned that you say it is a recurring problem. Hi folks
In respect of Microbusiness consumption data for annual statements.
SLC31.A.4 requires suppliers to provide an annual statement to every Domestic Customer. Amongst other info this should include the quantity of gas/electricity consumed during the previous 12 months. There is no requirement to provide this for Non Domestic Customers.
SLC21A requires suppliers to provide an annual statement to all customers who qualify under the Government’s Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) Efficiency Scheme. This should set out the amount of gas/electricity supplied in a year and how much was actual/estimated. This could be a supply at a Domestic or Non Domestic Premises. The aim of the statement is to help customers build their evidence pack when submitting their annual CRC return to the Government. It is not related to the SLC31.A statement which is there to help Domestic Customers understand their energy usage.
If a Non Domestic Customer is not a participant in the CRC Scheme, there is no obligation to provide a breakdown of their consumption in an annual statement.
I hope this clarifies matters
