Day trip to Calais - where to eat and not to eat

If you're taking the ferry soon for a nice shopping trip to Calais, and if you're willing to go to the Carrefour shopping centre, then don't go to CINÉ GRILL (sort of a restaurant) on the second level. They are very expensive, rude, and the food is just dreadful  . Yet take the lift and go to downstairs, and you will find heaven there, there are great little restaurants and pubs where they serve Beamish and were very helpful with us. So keep that in mind. We did not know and now we know for next time...
