Npower won't give me my money and don't even bother to reply to emails

Ok the times I've spoken on the phone to them they've always managed to fob me off, I'm not the quickest thinker when it comes to talking about things that I don't know much about so I prefer doing things over email as I can digest all the information before replying however they won't bloody email me back. I use £40 a month on electricity and hardly anything on gas. I told them the reason why I use hardly any gas months and months ago and yet my DD is still at £98 a month (gas being £58) so I'm £616 in credit. Last year they refunded me in Feb without me needing to ask which was nice and I've stuck with them because of that but I want my money because my washing machine decided to break so I'm relying on my Gf to wash my clothes and would mean I could get some nice gifts for crimbo.

I've said to them to reduce my DD to sixty so I'll still be putting extra in the kitty and asked twice to atleast give me some of my money but nothing.

I'm going to a different energy supplier as soon as I can because I don't like being ignored.

Anyway what can I do? Is there anything I can do? I've just had my bill through as I was almost a grand in credit so there's no reason not to give me my money and by the time my bill comes through next time I'll have put in more then enough to cover the next bill.

Switch supplier, I had the same trouble with EDF who were taking £50 a month on my gas ( for a gas cooker use only ) and would nt reduce without me begging and never volunteered the £400 credit build up. They just wanted my free money interest free. Put accurate kwhr annual use for gas/electric in a comp site and start from fresh with another supplier

Under License conditions they should refund you without any unreasonable delay unless they can produce a good reason why they should not do so
