Might be worth a read. But I didn't find a lot of negative reviews about them with a quick search.0 -
1. No they havent provided any IP address so far
2. Subscription was for some sort of registration and use of their "directory"
3. I do have all emails i sent to them as well as times when i called them
4. confedbt dot com
Have you at any point either given them your own IP or have you asked them what the IP they have is? While I'd be cautious about providing them with your IP......if you havent already asked, ask for the IP they have now.
TBH I don't think their T&Cs are up to scratch. They basically say once you sign up, you cant cancel. In contract law, either party is free to dissolve the contract but would be responsible for any losses reasonably incurred due to their breach.
Do be sure that no one in you office signed up though - as apparently they offer a free trial and its not unknown for people to sign up to "free" stuff without realising they're signing up to a subscription (although T&Cs provided should make that clear). You keep using that word. I have never given them my ip at any time. I asked them in regards to my ip - no replies or answer so far.
In regards to my office - none of 2 directors signed up. Cant say to other staff as few already left office and have been replaced etc.
Form was signed (name typed in) as from one of our directors but as i said - none of us signed up.
What should i write in defence? We never signed up etc?0 -
P.S - thank you guys for help with this so far! I really appreciate your time and efforts helping me with this0

Personally I would also add that your have disputed the alleged debt and asked for proof - which they ignored/never provided. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
IP address is a red herring, don't let talk of that concern you. It is trivial to get your IP address from the header of any email you sent them, from a web bug in an email they sent you, from your company domain information, from their server logs if you ever visited their site (even to see who was trying to sue you.)0
