Since my last post, I've made some ATM withdrawals in Zurich on my trusty Santander Zero. I did notice that some ATMs there offer DCC (ie offer to bill you in GBP) which of course I declined.

I would thoroughly recommend that anyone who has Zero continues to use it to prevent it becoming dormant. I believe they are not taking new applications. (It works the same way as Clarity, no loading, no fee, only interest from date of withdrawal. In my experience it rarely blocks and I've certainly pulled out the equivalent of £300/day on consecutive days without a hitch.)
