I got it too but isn't it negligence/duty of care rather than contract law?
Quaffing a ginger beer here;), and agree it is negligence.
Another spanner in the works, if the fuel delivery company was a small independent, they could have had their tanker filled incorrectly by a large refinery.0 -
The contract is still with the retailer. Maybe the distributor/refinery can offer to deal with it as you could pursue a negligence claim against them but I thought it would be easier just to pursue a contract claim against the retailer?0
