How long ago did you do your first degree? I don't think you'd have problems if it's a long time ago and I speak from personal experience!0 -
started my last degree in 1987...what about you?0

But every lea is different. Best of luck though
Unfortunately, every LEA is the same - they follow Government funding guidelines, which changed when the £3k pa top up fees came in, which removed the right of second degreers to claim a maintainence loan (save for students on 'vocational' courses).
You could chose not to disclose - someone in a different year on my degree course did this (there first degree was awarded in 1986 ish IIRC). They got caught out part way through and had to pay it all back ASAP or face legal action...
What I would recommend is pouring over the EGAS directory, or go into a careers library and use the 'funder finder' programme to see where you could get other financial help from. I secured £3k this year doing that - and every penny helps!April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200 -
Mark: They will know unfortunately. Someone on my course got caught out just before the application went through and played the 'oh I forgot, how silly of me card!' And it was ok as he hasnt recieved any money beforeGreen and White Barmy Army!0
