How long are the ads at the Odeon before the film starts? Anyone know?
I'm asking because the film itself is 115 minutes, we'd need to be on the bus (stop round the corner) home 2.5 hours after the listed start time... Its the last bus home so what I really need to know is... Are we going to have to leave before the end?

Anything from 10-20ish minutes in my local Odeon. It does tend to depend how new the film is. I notice there are more ads if it's a new film out. Why don't you ring the cinema? They tend to know the exact times IME.0

Generally i think about 20 mins, when you take into account ads and trailers. I usually leave an extra half hour to be on the safe side. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The cinema will be able to tell you what time the whole programme ends. It's possible to also find out what time the actual film starts too. I always want to know because I can't abide sitting through quarter of an hour of overly loud adverts for crap I'll never buy."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

The run time of the film may also include about 5mins + of credits at the end.0
