Neighbour splitting up - needs advice
Comments
-
HI I divorced my ex on the grounds of adultery although the split was technically amicable neither of us wanted to be with each other but when he left i found out he had been seeing someone.. she wasnt named on the divorce..
I stayed in the marital home as basically i couldnt afford not to. if sold wouldnt have been able to get another morgage, wouldnt make enough from sale of home to buy another. We had a small morgage and my ex paid this instead of maintence.
Does mean he still has a stake in the property doesnt mean he can come in and out as he pleases.. once he left i changed the locks ( was advised not to) but basically the only way he would know they were changed would be to try and get in and why should he want to get into your home once he has left.
This wont be easy and once money is involved be it morgage kids or bills etc it can get nasty.. especially if he moves in with her..
His family will probably side with him and be uncomfortable round your friend i know eventually my in laws stopped speaking to me..
If she feels her kids not coping with it tell her to see her doctor and mabey the kids will get help.. mine had panic attacks 3 years after the divorce and it wasnt nice to see happen..
Tell her no matter how hard it is now it will be for the best as she doenst deserve to be 2nd best in anyones life..
roseThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0
