Help finding a savings account

hiya,
i need a specific type of savings account, i dont even know if it exists..

i want an account that restricts access for a certain amount of time, possibly 1, 2 or 3 years..

i want to be able to pay money in at any point, but not be able to withdraw any till the set time...

i also dont have much to start the account with..

i do not care what the interest rate is.

does anyone know of such an account?

They kinda exist, but the bank can stop you depositing at any time, so not really what you want.

A better plan may be several regular savers - typically you can only deposit in these and not withdraw until maturity. You can go from £25 to £500/month.
