- Only eat three times a day.
- In the evening yogurt (that burns fat when you're asleep).
- Drink a lot of water
- and take a walk minimum 30 minutes per day! Maybe in your lunch time. Or if you haven't got a too stressful job you can keep a dog
so you have to go out at least three times a every day
Good luck
Can I point out that MOST, if not all yoghurts' contain sugar, sugar converts into fat. And your statement that "burns fat when you're asleep" is UTTER RUBBISH and NOT based on any scientific fact!0 -

It sounds as if you are ready to make some changes and for that you should be proud! Well done for asking for some guidance and taking steps to get healthier.
Hard as it may be try to think of this as a positive a way to explore new foods. Think about what you eat now and try to make your meals a bit healthier maybe adding more veg or reducing the fat content. Treat are fine just use common sense. There is no point going to extremes as you will not stick to it and that will leave you feeling deflated. Start small.
Think about what exercise you do (if any) and explore ways of stepping it up a bit walking instead of driving a wee 10 min toning routine in the evening/morning and build it from there.
What you need to remember is that the weight did not appear overnight and it will take time to come off. Slow and steady is the way to go and good luck!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
My partner has lost 12.5 stone with Weightwatchers. Its not restrictive, nothing is banned. They are doing free referrals for 3 months through your GP. Def worth a try. Good luckIt's probably been done about a million times before but I'm stuck.
Just came back from the doctors and he's gave me a telling off.
Basically I'm tall (6'7) and weigh roughly 21st.
I've always been quite active and have recently joined the gym again. It's just my diet. I just don't know what to do. Everything I try has no results.
I would really live some advice on to change my attitude to food. Are slimming world etc worth doing? I'm so Nieve when it comes to food.
Advice/support or someone to laugh at me welcome

Ask your GP if they do exercise referall, i got a reduced rate at the gym for being on it, and now a 3 month discounted membership which includes swimming and classes to. And ask if they have a specialist weight loss service-i've been refered for that too and am now having appointments set up with a dietician and psychologist to help me with my eating issues.
Also i'm currently keeping a food diary, and for each meal i'm colouring it in red (bad), orange (ok) and green (good). Having to write everything down and seeing it there, is making it easier to keep track and making me less likely to cheat and binge like i used to.
I sympathise (i need to lose 8 stone myself-so a whole person  ), its not easy, but you have to see it as a lifestyle change for the better. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
