I received my "automated" home insurance renewal quote to day from Direct Line for home plus policy which coveres home and contents.... to say the least the price look high compared to last year
time to shop around...
just for interest I went onto Direct lines web site, entered my details for the same policy and the cost was £170 less than my renewal.
Called Direct Line and after 10 mins of chatting to some nice people they cancelled my automatic renewal and match my web quote....
10mins work and saved £170 pound... RESULT. :T
Have a go its worth shopping around.
