I'v installed Ubuntu v7.04 on my tired old celeron 1.2ghz machine and it's nicely rejuvenated the old girl. Trouble is I added a 2nd disk drive at the same time and I can't find it. Does Ubuntu have something similar to disk manager.

Nautilus should see it...go to Places/Computer.....0 -
It may not be mounted. Bit of pain to explain, there are probably better How-To's out there than me explaining.
Just google something like "Ubuntu Mount Hard Drive"
The file you want is, open up a terminal window and type:sudo gedit /etc/fstab
It'll list all the fixed drives that you currently have mounted. Is is a removable/usb drive? Or an internal fixed drive?"Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
It's a fixed ide drive, I'm tinkering with setting the machine up as a file server. Don't think I saw it with fdisk -l with the installed version of ubuntu, but I can see it with xp and from the Ubuntu live cd.0
