my car was stolen while i was out shopping…… now I'm dealing with the car insurance they want me to do a call with me my Wife who is a named driver and the DVLA.
The problem is that my wife has told me she didn't update the address on her licence
could this cause any problems???

With the insurance company and/or DVLA?0 -
...if it's just DVLA get her to do it asap.0

The insurance company is Admiral… they want to do the call with me and my partner and the DVLA…. the car is under my name and my license is registered to the same address as the car…. its just my Wife who is a named driver with a different address on her license0

No problem, they just want to check for driving convictions.0

It will probably be an investigative phone call regarding circumstances around the theft..
Weren't Admiral in the press a few years back for doing Lie Detector type phone calls?
Don't panic - many insurers will send out an in house investigator to clarify any fuzzy points.
Re DVLA, dunno why they are involved, unless vehicle recently failed an MOT or similar (yes, they do know as all MOT's on line now) and they think it could be a fraudulent claim. eg. if costs to get vehicle through the MOT exceed the value.
How long have you had the car, and is cover comp or TPF&T?0 -
as hugoshavez said they wanted to check for convictions….. all is good (touch wood) we gave them a call early this evening and sorted it out
thanks for all your replies
