Just ckecked phone bill from orange or EE as it is now and I do not understand the call heading above or recognise any of the numbers. some of these calls are listed as 23minute duration and I would like to think I can still remember who I would talk to for that length of time. Would be pleased if anyone can shed some light.

g6 is a UK-wide designation of certain 08 numbers upon which each provider decides its charging rate. If you scroll through the below link you'll see BT's list thereof - but it doesn't matter which provider's list you use, they all desigate g6 numbers accordingly. However, they each decide upon their own rate for such calls.

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
