Cheap Epson Printer for child to use?

Options
I am looking to buy a new printer for my sons first computer and am thinking of an Epson as i know the compatible ink cartridges are very reasonably priced as I am sure he will be printing loads of stuff off the CBeebies website. Can anyone recommend a decent but cheapy printer?

Not sure what all these 6 colour printers are now as its a while since I bought a printer and they have all changed so much and I dont think he would need anything so advanced.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

assuming an adult sets it up initially I think any printer will be fine. We have an old Epson Stylus Photo 700 and my children have used it fine since they first used the computer. After all once it's connected all they have to do is click a print button or occasionally file and print. The only problem we had is my son is impatient so if he wanted to print out a picture to colour in he tended to keep hitting the print button if nothing happened instantly so we ended up with loads of pictures instead of one. We've just about trained him not to do that now though.

If it runs out of ink I change the cartridges and it's usually me or my wife who restocks the paper.

How old is your son BTW?
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
