Hello,

Recently complained about BG to Energywatch for basically ignoring contact with me and not acknowledging my request for credit refund on my Click Energy account.

Anyway after Energywatch got involved, a lovely lady from Centrica called me and pursued the problem, it even seemed to be resolved very quickly. My credit would be refunded and I would be given a £20 bonus for the fact they had "lost/ignored/deleted/never recieved" my emails.

Great I thought, I got a letter from BG at the beginning of April saying I would have my refund "no later than Wednesday 18th April" and that they had lowered my DD.

All good, can you guess what is coming? Indeed.... My Click Energy account now shows a £0 balance and I have not got the cheque as promised by the 18th April.

Oh British Gas, if Click Energy were not so cheap for Electricity I would be soooo gone..

They truely are useless....

Mike

    I have to agree!

I have the opposite problem, since they increased my DD for my gas payments they haven't taken a payment (two months now owing). I called yesterday to find out what's happening - they said they had requested the payments and my bank had refused, so I should contact the bank.

Called the bank (my branch) and they said BG had never requested either payment. Odd.

Called BG again and as I was explaining the problem the man said "Can I stop you there, I've just had an email saying there might be a problem with our system, give us 48 hours to investigate it and we'll get back to you" Do they honestly expect me to believe they hadn't been made aware of this earlier, and that the email had JUST been sent out as I was on the phone? Pull the other one!

The CEO was on Watchdog around 8 months ago, for the same reason, with promise " it will all be sorted soon, we are taking on more staff to sort"

    Deja Vue, again ;) .

More staff still, to sort, :rolleyes2

It cannot be cured by throwing more staff at it because their CS model is flawed, creating more problems that add to the original problem. :rolleyes2 :rolleyes2
