Morning Mike - had a week's holiday and have also had an upturn of work on the business front which is encouraging.

It helps to have a hobby - winding up O2 could be yours. They deserve it.Money won't buy you happiness
But at least you can be miserable in comfort

02 must be suckers for punishment. I just spoke to another creditor (Barclaycard) and as soon as I gave them the details of my petition they were satisfied, and said they would update the account. I'm sure I've been very lucky so far - just waiting for a nasty one to come through the woodwork.BCSC Member 70:j

I HATE THIS!
I thought you might be interested to know that on the DFW board there's a thread about a single mum taking the Halifax bank to court about undue harrassment regarding an overdraft. Apparently it goes to court on the 21st May.
Perhaps we should keep tabs on how it goes, it may be useful for us BR's.0 -
O2 can do absolutely NOTHING and by making your life a misery with these phone calls they are, effectively, trying to gain preferental status, which will go down like a lead balloon with the OR.
You can report them to the Trading Standards, for continuing these calls after you have informed them of your bankruptcy, but it will be 'water off of a duck's back.
Strangely enough, when I informed O2 of my own bankruptcy they allowed me to keep the phone, changed my contract to £7.00 a month, with 100 inclusive minutes and gave me £75 credit. I had a bill today and it shows £23.00 credit.
Orange, on the other hand, but that's a different story.....
The phone calls WILL, eventually, stop, but it can take a long time - I still get the odd calls 6 months into my bankruptcy. I am no longer diplomatic in my replies.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Well had a further call again today from O2...I got everything ready & fired up for a fight...to be a little let down, a customer account director no less was calling to apologise for all the hassle they had been causing me the last few days said they had received all relevant details from the OR and were in the process of closing the account & assure me that from now on I will receive NO further calls from them
I wait & see!
Thanks for all the input Guys
