  • rising - sorry you had a bad day, maybe a hunky handyman can fix your shelf?

    :rotfl: Oh yes please!:D
I really like Damart. They are of a very good quality and last well.I have one each of the no-sleeved,short-sleeved and long-sleeved thermal vests (Thermolactyl) in a thin and a thicker material,.Today I had on the thin long-sleeved one.It wasn't really that cold today, which is why I was too hot.:o

Will have a look at the Damart ones today! Thanks Marmite :D

Rising - at least the iron didn't land on your foot :eek:

Ohhhh it did just miss it! That would've hurt!
Rising - Hope you are okay?? Pants to the iron though. But, in my opinion, ironing is vastly overrated. What's wrong with a crease or two? :rotfl:

    Take care of yourself :smileyhea

Ohhhh I'm OK ... just getting a bit fed up being in the house / frustrated at how long things are taking .....

NSD number 2 for me yesterday.

When I saw this thread I thought, oh that'll be a doddle!!! How wrong was I? I'm not sure that i'll manage the 10 especially when it gets nearer Christmas and i'm going out. Well we'll see, very good idea though and makes me much more aware of what i'm spending.
Ahh Lottie *remimising sigh* this brings back memories of those far-away days when I was a mere NSD Babe *stares wistfully at a cobweb* We all come to this place with such niave bravado, only to end up looking like a right 30upn9j.gif when it comes to putting it into practise :snow_laug But fear not, My Child, *stands feet akimbo, hands on hips & chin high* for I have great hopes for those for whom The Lesson is Learned *cape SHOULD be flapping gently in the breeze, but there ain't none this morning ;) *...this Challenge is all about noticing where your money is going, so :T you!

It does take a bit of fine tuning along the way but you will find a system that You can work with, to grab those pesky nsds.

.... *sigh* - memory is like mince just now!:o
....still not started the C shopping  it's looking more & more likely everyone will be getting a bottle from the SM!
    a) Memory for specific tasks etc? When the builders were in doing my brain, they put that orange plastic netting--the one with the 12x12" squares--around the scaffolding as per Elfen SafeTee, but forgot to put anything there :rotfl:
    b) With what you've been through recently those who are worth your good intentions are going to be chuffed with a card, & those who are not--well--that's a few more off your list for next year. Good Grief! Don't pile on the panic for goodness sake, or your recovery will be taking even longer. Don't do it :naughty: (the worrying I mean ;) )

It's blummin scary to watch a child in the throes of an asthma attack isn't it Want2Be, unable to really do anything other than try to calm them down :o One of The Offspring is a bit worse than another (the third has nowt like allergies & stuff) but thankfully, nothing a couple of puffs on an inhaler & some peace & quiet couldn't handle. Being a fellow sufferer, I know how it feels to be struggling to breathe--especially when there's a storm brewing or this still, crisp air strangely--but again, not enough to be hospitalised. Hope things are better today & sending w-i-d-e virtual ((hugs)) to you & yours x

Jeeeeeez, I'm not THAT hardcore, the heating goes on every day from October.

mine only goes on when i switch it on, which is about 30 minutes a day on average if needed. yes that is why my gas bill is around £13 a month. at work we have a minus 60 freezer so I try never to complain about the cold to anyone at work!
Thanks guys for all your thoughts, unfortunately right now i don't see things getting better at all, as the bully has won & i have been told nothing will be done as they don't believe anything i have said

this is awful BDINI, you must use the work appeal process and if not see if you can get ACAS to help you. BIG HUGS.

and i work in a fish processing plant, we dont deal with kippers but trust me I can get a nice big slimy halibut to slap them with.

or tuna... saw delivery of 5 kg loins in today... and tuna blood is a nightmare it completely dries out your skin due to the histamine.

right enough boring you to death with fish misnomer

freedby sorry to hear about your accident, but very glad to hear you & DD are ok, and that the other lady was so nice about it all.

BDINI sorry to hear nothing is being done about your situation, having been through bulling myself I know the effect it has, I hope something works out somehow for you.

NSD 5 for me today just staying away from the shops.
