Claims Guys terms and conditions

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site and wow all the helpful tips and forums are very interesting.

I have a big ask is there anyone out there who is able to send me a copy of The Claims Guys terms and conditions that are printed on the back of their letter of authority BUT it must mention the tax on the 8% interest rather than the vat. I'm asking because I only photo copied the fronts of the letters of authority and not the reverse and The Claims Guys are demanding that I pay an extra 20%; I am refusing. I'm getting desperate.

Can anyone help please.

  • Why don't you approach the Claims Guys directly and ask for a copy of their letter of authority?
  • Hi Moneyineptitude,

Thank you for your quick reply that's exactly what I'm going to do, I'm just trying to cover all bases. So that's two people with the same idea so it must be a good one.

    Thanks for your help

I suspect they have multiple types of contract as the MoJ has changed the guidelines periodically. The Claims Guys are also one of the firms listed as being under investigation. So, its possible that the contract has changed to reflect the investigation outcomes/comments. I wouldnt want to rely on someone elses contract.

The "service" they do is vatable.
