My nephew is planning his 21st birthday celebration "weekend" and is thinking of going to Dublin with 30 of his closest friends (OMG !!) in Feb.
Could anyone give me ideas of the best part of Dublin for them to stay and visit - they like bars, clubs etc but nothing posh. Reasonably cheap hotels nearby.
Oh, once I tell you his dates, make sure you lock up your daughters !
Thanks
Miss H

Hi,
when we went to dublin we stayed here
http://www.hardinghotel.ie/
just round the corner of temple bar area. I enjoyed dublin, but and it is a big but, the temple bar area is very expensive, very expensive.
30 boys would go through some serious dosh in dublin.0 -
Dublin is very very expensive all over.
If you are going on the buses, have the right money, you get no change.
The zoo is brilliant............make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I wouldn't want to be in the same hotel as these thirty boys! It would be one to avoid - let's hope they all of the rooms.0

Temple Bar is not great - expensive also. The best nightlife in Dublin is Dawson Street, where there are multiple bars/clubs open late and has a better atmosphere than Temple Bar.
If you google hostels in Dublin 2 you will have a lot to choose from:)0 -
We went to Dublin on a hen weekend and stayed here. It was within walking distance of Temple Bar and very cheap. I'd go again.
