A4 Self adhesive labels

Hi I'm designing my own box labels for subbuteo teams and I wondered what is the best self adhesive labels to use -the ones that I'm using at the moment are quite thin-I need something that will fit through my epson Dx4050 printer but I don't want it to crack when I bend it , I have some that I bought fom somebody else that have a shiny look-should I be looking for something glossy, the ones I'm using at the moment are ok but are to papery -I'd like something a bit thicker and durable -thanks
