Cannot access Kindle books

Hi there
Hoping someone with more sense/intelligence than me can answer this
Have just replaced my old Kindle ( broken) with the new 6" Kindle
Have transferred E Books from a file on my PC onto my new Kindle, but when I go the the home page I cannot access them or even find them
When I check my Kindle on my PC, it shows the books/files are in there
Had no problem doing this on my old Kindle, so not sure what I am doing wrong
These are Mobi files
Hope someone can help, need the reader for my hoildays next week

I think you need to open the Kindle up on the computer firstly.
Then open the Documents section that pops up , then c+p the books into that section , that should do the trick ..0 -
