    COMPETITION RULES
    “Win a one week ski trip in Tignes”
    LD Lines –26 November to 10 December 2012
    Article 1: Organisation
    Louis Dreyfus LINES SAS (Simplified Joint Stock Company) with a capital of 305,250 euros, whose registered office is located at 28 quai Gallieni, 92158 Suresnes Cedex (France), and whose Siret (company registration) number is 449 952 993 00037.
    And
    The TIGNES TOURIST OFFICE, namely La Sagest Tignes Development whose registered office is located at Mairie de Tignes, BP 51, 73320 TIGNES (France), and whose Siret (company registration) number is 349 231 068 00017.
    Hereinafter referred to as the ‘ORGANISERS’
    Are organising a free competition on https://www.ldlines.com, with no purchase obligation.
    The competition starts on 26 November 2012 and ends on 10 December 2012.
    Article 2: Eligibility
    The game is open to adults only.
    Anyone who does not meet the abovementioned terms is not eligible to enter. Also prohibited from entering are corporate officers and staff members (managers, employees, directors and permanent and casual workers (employees or otherwise)) of the organisers, of any company which they control or which is under joint control with them, the organisers’ clients, and generally any person who is directly or indirectly involved in organising, carrying out, implementing, promoting and facilitating the project. Also prohibited from entering are all family members (spouses, common law spouses, ancestors or direct heirs) of any of the persons cited above, as well any person living in the same household.
    Only one entry is permitted per household for the duration of the competition (i.e. only one entry from the same name, postal address and/or e-mail address). It is strictly prohibited to enter under several aliases belonging to the same household, or on behalf of another person.
    The organisers reserve the right to ask entrants to provide proof of compliance with these terms. Any person who does not comply with these terms or who refuses to provide proof shall be excluded from the competition, and, if he/she is the winner, will not be awarded the prize.
    Article 3: Competition Basis and Method for Awarding Prizes
    All entrants state that they are familiar with the full rules and basis of the competition.
    The competition is based on a final prize draw.
    Prize Draw Basis and Method
    Entrants can enter the draw by filling in an entry form in full on the https://www.ldlines.com website, no later than midnight on 10 December 2012.
    In order to pick a winner of the final grand draw, a draw will be made on 17 December 2012 at the latest, which will include all the entrants whose registration form has been correctly filled out. The draw will be made at Louis Dreyfus Armateurs, 28 Quai Gallieni, 92158 Suresnes, at 1500hrs. The draw will be carried out by the LD Lines. The first entrant drawn whose registration form is correctly filled in will win the grand draw prize.
    The date of the draw is provided for information purposes only. It may be subject to change according to circumstances.
    The name of the winner can be obtained from the organisers free of charge when the competition is finished.
    Please note that an entrant is defined as a single individual Any use of different addresses for the same entrant shall be considered as attempted fraud, which will entail the full exclusion of the entrant in question.
    Article 4: Registration Terms
    In order to enter the competition, each entrant must fully and clearly fill out the entry page on the https://www.ldlines.com website.
    All the fields marked as required with an asterisk (*) must be properly completed, including: - Title - Surname - Forename - Full postal address - Age - Phone number - E-mail address
    Any registration form which is only partially completed or incomprehensible (other than optional fields) cannot be included, and the entry will be invalid. The entrant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, and must indicate any changes to such information during the course of the competition.
    Entering the competition is entirely free of charge. Entries may only be submitted on the https://www.ldlines.com website. Consequently, any telephone, fax, postal or e-mail entries cannot be accepted.
    Article 5: Prizes
    The competition prize includes the following package:

    - Studio flat accommodation for 4 (7 nights, from Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd March 2013)
    - 4 one-week “espace Killy” ski passes (6 days, from Sunday 17th to Friday 22nd March 2013)
    - Free ski equipment rental for 4 (6 days, from Sunday 17th to Friday 22th March 2013)
    - Free access to the ice-rink and to the swimming-pool of the “Lagon”
    - Prize valid from March 16th to March 23rd 2013 during the X Games week (However, if unable, this Prize remains valid from December 1st to May 12th 2013 upon availability). Please note that the resort will close on the 12th May 2013.
    Estimated commercial value of the prize : 2300 €

    LD Lines, whose registered office is located at 28 quai Gallieni, 92158 Suresnes Cedex (France) will offer the winner of this competition a return sea crossing with a standard inside cabin from the UK to France on one of the valid routes, for 1 car and 4 passengers (subject to availability).
    The crossing must fit in with the holiday dates offered by Sagest Tignes Developpement.
    Estimated commercial value of the prize: 400 € incl. taxes. (exact value depends on dates of travel).

    Article 6: Receipt of Prizes
    6.1 Prize values were calculated when these rules were drafted, and cannot be challenged. Where required, the organisers reserve the right to replace prizes won with a similar prize and/or a prize of an equivalent value. Prizes may in no case be exchanged or refunded for their cash value, replaced by another prize or transferred to a third party.
    6.2 Prizes are only valid for the name of the person drawn and cannot be transferred to another person.
    6.3 Prizes are subject to a validity period. They can in no case be transferred to a subsequent period. Any prize which has not been used during its validity period shall be deemed to have been forfeited. Holiday dates cannot be changed once they have been agreed with the organisers.
    6.4 The organisers shall personally inform draw winners of their win by post, using the postal address indicated on their competition entry form. Winners will then have 15 days from receipt of the letter to confirm their acceptance of the prize and their full postal address to the competition address, which is: LD Lines, Terminal de la Citadelle, 76600 Le Havre (France). Subject to the above, winners will receive their prize within an average of 3 weeks after the draw has been made, i.e. no later than 7 January 2013.
    6.5 Any winner who has not responded within 15 days will be deemed to have purely and simply relinquished their prize. The prize will therefore not be awarded, and cannot be claimed at a later date. It will instead remain the property of the organisers.
    6.6 The Winner’s address for service is the address which they have provided and confirmed. The organisers shall retain any prizes which cannot be awarded due to an error or omission in the entrant’s contact details, a change to these details or on any other grounds.
    6.7 The organisers cannot be held liable for any delay or loss during delivery caused by the postal services or transporter, or for the total or partial destruction of the prize announcement in transit or due to a problem with transportation services, or for any other reason.
    Article 7: Refund of Entry Fees
    7.1 Competition entrants may by written request obtain a refund of the stamp used to confirm the acceptance of their prize by writing to the following address: LD Lines, Terminal de la Citadelle, 76600 Le Havre, France. Requests must be sent within 2 months). Refunds will be granted at the ‘slow’ post rate in force for French residents.
    7.2 Any refund request must include personal bank account details and must provide the full details of the account holder (forename and surname, full address).
    Only one request for the refund of stamp costs can be made per household (i.e. for the same name, postal address and/or bank details) for the duration of the competition.
    The name provided on the refund request letter must be the same as the name shown on the bank account details.
    Any refund request that does not comply with the above terms cannot be honoured.
    Refunds shall be honoured within an average of 2 months. Any claims relating to the refund of entry costs should be sent to the competition address within 3 months. No claims will be processed after 3 months have elapsed.
    Article 8: Information Technology and Civil Liberties
    In application of French Law no.78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to IT, files and civil liberties, entrants to the competition have the right to contest (Art. 26), access (Art. 34 to 38), correct and delete (Art. 36) their personal details. This right can be exercised by writing to the organiser.
    The organisers’ CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) registration number is in the process of being issued.
    Article 9: Authorisation & Advertising
    Entrants authorise the organisers to carry out any required checks on their identity and contact details.
    The organisers reserve the right to publish winners’ names and photos publicly in any format, for advertising or other purposes, on the internet or otherwise. Winners cannot claim anything in return or challenge such an action, other than relinquishing their prize.
    Only the organisers shall have access to such information.
    Article 10: Correspondence
    Any correspondence which contains errors, regardless of its format, (i.e. incomplete, illegible, insufficient stamps, sent by recorded delivery) shall not be taken into account. Any false identities or contact details shall entail the immediate exclusion of the entrant.
    The organisers will not respond to any request (whether in writing, by phone or face-to-face) relating to the interpretation or application of the rules, the competition terms and methods and/or the refund offer or winners list.
    Article 11: Compliance with the Rules
    Entry in the competition implies the entrant’s full acceptance of these rules, without reservation.
    The organisers reserve the right to prosecute anyone attempting to cheat.
    Any difficulties relating to the interpretation of the rules will be settled by the organisers, whose decision is final.
    Article 12: Liability
    The organisers cannot be held liable if a force majeure event, events beyond their control or requirements mean that they are forced to cancel, shorten, extend or postpone the competition or change its terms. In any case, they reserve the right to extend the entry period.
    Similarly, the organisers cannot be held liable for events beyond their control such as technical incidents linked to the project location, malfunctions, interruptions or delays to postal services, transportation or telecommunications networks. The organisers cannot be held liable for delivery errors relating to letters or prizes, their loss during shipping, or non-receipt or damage.
    The organisers are not responsible for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, operating or transfer delays, communication failures, thefts, destruction, or unauthorised access or changes to registrations.
    Article 13: Exclusion
    The organisers may cancel the entry of any player who has not complied with these rules. Cancellation may be applied at any time, without notice. The organisers also reserve the right to delete any entry form which contains obvious errors relating to the player’s identity. Deletion may be applied at any time, without notice.
    Article 14: Industrial and Intellectual Property
    It is strictly prohibited to reproduce, portray or use all or part of the competition elements offered. All of the trademarks and brand names cited have been registered by their respective owners.
    Article 15: Disputes and Applicable Law
    In the event that one or several provisions of these rules are declared invalid or inapplicable, the other clauses shall retain their full force and scope.
    All cases not stipulated by the rules shall be settled by the organisers, whose decision is final. These rules are governed by French law. An attempt should be made to reach an amicable settlement of any disagreements arising from the competition.
    Should no agreement be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the French Code of Civil Procedure (Code de proc!dure civile). Any challenges received more than two months after the competition is closed will be deemed invalid.
    Article 16 : Rules ( regulation)
    This regulation is also sent to Maître Matringhend, our bailiff, located 22 Rue Jules Lescene 76600 LE HAVRE and can be sent upon written request made to Louis Dreyfus Armateurs, 28 Quai Galli!ni, 92158 Suresnes.
