problem with Aims

About a year or so ago we lodged a PPI claim we regret with a PPI reclaim company, it started with a company called CCS (their web address now seems to forward to a completely different company now) and for some reason part way through the claim we were passed onto Aims Legal.
the claim was successful, however not long after they started chasing us for their cut, however we had used up most of the PPI on clearing debts to keep a roof over our heads. so we agreed (foolishly it seems) to pay them back so much per week, as it was too claims the agreement was £5 for one and £10 for the other claim debited from our bank account once a week, this went on like clockwork for the past few months until today.
now this is where things become strange, this morning we logged into our online banking and noticed the usual transactions from Aims but with one major difference, instead of taking £5 and £10 they debited £25 twice!!!
the above is an excert from our online banking which states in the information that one is for £5 and the other for £10 and by the looks of it we have never missed a payment!!
highly suspect, even more so considering l received a call earlier asking for my father (one of the claimants) the person wouldnt identify himself or who he worked for however the phone number leads to pages that speculate its PPI claims related and since he asked for my father by name it seems logical that it could be related to Aims, all l can say is the guy was rude and threatening.
l was referred to the Ministry of Justice by the financial ombudsman so we could lodge a complain to get to the bottom of the issue.

Why don't you just ask your Bank why an amount you apparently didn't agree to has been debited (twice)?l was referred to the Ministry of Justice by the financial ombudsman so we could lodge a complain to get to the bottom of the issue.
Your post is yet another reason why no one here will recommend using a claims company. You could have had all your redress if you had complained yourself...0 -
sadly at the time we didnt know that we could do it ourselves and of course because l am not exactly the account holder it was ultimately my parents choice at the time to take up the ppi reclaim.0
