Personally I would be nervous about washing a lacquer bag... but I'm sure I remember someone on here did once and it was ok. Can't remember who it was.... Snap maybe?

If you do decide to risk it, make sure it's on a cool wash - but maybe wait a while and see if the person who tried it before posts a reply :)

EDIT.... Ooh Snap we cross-posted :rotfl: At least I got it right, it was you (so I haven't lost all my marbles after all!!!)!! :D

I thought I'd share my experience with black lacquer. I loved the colour but had to return my bag after a couple of months of use as it started having white creases and lines. Really a shame, as it was a lovely bag but certainly not good quality. So personally I would not risk washing the bag.

    :(

One of my favourites Defeas was the black heather one. The glittery one
But the glittery started peeling off on the creases - Kipling replaced it for me as they have a 2 year guarantee (bought on Amazon)

Good that they replaced it but not what you expect for the prices charged.

They sound like the range they did about 5 years ago - a printed denim & yes old logos used to have the lettering in cream on a black background
    They were pretty hideous :p
