Thankyou tweets. I have looked at the defea but I don't like the handles on the Fairfax, eldest daughter is using it and loves it, so I don't think I will like the defea for the same reason. Opinions please regarding the alvar, port red or heather olive :)
Can I also ask are the print bags made of the same material as the plain basic bags. ( I want monkey mania but can't justify the extra :(

I had the alvar but wasn't big enough for me I have the Elizea in port red which is similar to alvar and the port red is gorgeous a very rich deep red colour

Thankyou, port red alvar has jumped in my basket, but pauses to run off and google elizea, :)

Using port red today a- a lovely wine colour.

I think the one patterned one I ordered did feel stiffer than the plain ones - didn't like the feel myself but it might have been that print - it was the flashed of orange white purple etc.

ooh I like elizea too. Might have to youtube for the sizes to see how big they look in real life.

7roland8 Thankyou for your reply. The duo sounds nice but I don't know if it would be big enough. I need it to take my kindle ebook in its case.
The 2 zipped top compartments are what I like about the alvar as I can keep my gadgets separate from my purse. Is it only the large alvar that has 2 separate top zipped compartments?

Yes its only the large one that has two top pockets.

7roland8 I did wonder if the patterned ones felt different. The weave looks different when I zoom in. I love the basic bag fabric as they wipe and wash and come up like new. I think port red is going to be the colour I go for. Just off to decide which bag via youtube.

I have the Alvar in turquoise and it lovely and flat, I am using the priska in port red snake which is a gorgeous colour. My new love is the Gabbie though. I have a Defea which I'm also not a great fan of, but have it in brown heather which is a colour I love

I'm not sure of the dimensions but yes I think it's taller than the brownie & it's definitely wider as although the brownie expands, the uki has the extra pockets at the front which you can fit loads in. I also used to own a Nennie which is quite similar to the uki but the uki has one extra pocket. I honestly wouldn't be without mine now, it's fab!! Sorry for waffling, hth x

I would just like to say thank you again i have received my new UKI purse today and i love it, it is very secure and spacious and if just popping to the shops and don't want to take my bag i can even get my phone in it.

I'm so pleased i am addicted to this thread  or i may have missed this :D
