  • There were still some Alvar left a couple of minutes ago. I was 14 on the wait list 5 mins ago, offered the bag within 2 minutes but declined, so still worth looking if you want it.
  • Still available.......

    Xmas Saver!
Got my shopper in Purple from yesterday's deals. I've got a few of the Shopper Combos but this is a bit different and I'm so glad I went for it :)

The purple is the "Brilliant Purple" colour. The writing is in a (matte!) silver colour with a thin purpley/pinky outline. The bottom of the bag is the "Port Red Lacquer" fabric and the piping around this and also the material (strengthening) around the handles is the very cool intergalactic material that they used on some of their evening bags. Looks like black patent leather in normal (dull) light but move it in sunlight or spotlight and it morphs into blues, greens etc. L-O-V-E it!!

The hardware is this kinda pewtery looking metal and it has a metal monkey too. A nice different zip pull and the lining is different too (not the usual plain or spotted) with a monkey mania print.

...just in case anyone was curious about it! I nearly didn't go for it (as I said above, I have a few Shopper Combos already), but now I'm so, so happy that I did :T

thank you for this, i went for the purple one and like you nearly didn't but that was because i am not really a shopper bag person i'm more across body type but i thought it would be good for a work bag for folder, lunch etc .
i saw the inside print and loved the look of it, but the bottom looked more black/brown to me so am surprised to hear it's port red, i dod like port red as my elizea is port red

looking forward to it coming now :D....come on amazon hurry up and post
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving
  • Looks as though it's the Elise tomorrow at 8am. The colour shown is Heather Olive which looks lovely.

I've been hankering after an Elise as a work bag (starting a new job soon) but only yesterday finally decided against it and ordered a (non-Kipling) backpack instead. May have to have a rethink...:o

I've got the Elise in cello grey, it's a lovely bag with plenty of room.

The heather olive Elise is on the Kipling website at the moment for £36.80 (plus a couple of other colours). They've also got beige & blue snake, burnt sienna & wine red lacquer for £40.80. There's some really nice bags in the 'outlet' section.
  • I hope this link works:
    Purple Shopper Combo

....if it doesn't work, or go to the correct colour, just search for Kipling Shopper Combo and the colour is called "Purple X". Hope that helps :)

Thanks, it looks lovely, have it in my basket hoping for it to drop in price....

Thank you that's very helpful. I might order the tote just to see what it's like. :)
    And why choose LOL.

Obama, it seems like quite a big bag - is it cumbersome when you wear it across the body? Some bags swing around either in front of you or behind you when your wearing them across-the-body - drives me mad!

    Thank you. Oh, temptation...:o

And thanks to Tweets for the good wishes.
