Can I ask had anyone got the firefly casual backpack? If so is it a good size? I don't need a really large one but big enough when out on days out and need to carry some lunch etc

I just bought the firefly last week and was lucky to get it new with tags from ebay for £30.00. I have the candy and love it for days out with the kids but wanted something a bit bigger for holiday and to fit my kindle fire in. Not yet used it as its for my holiday but tested it out with the things I will take. I can fit small tissues and wipes in one front pocket, camera in the other front pocket in its kipling case. Then in the zipped front part can fit my phone and a small purse, it has the usual pockets and lanyard for keys. I can also fit my kindle fire in this part or it will fit in the main compartment. In the main compartment I can fit kindle fire, bottle of water, sun cream (not together just in case they leaks) and four passports and could still fit a few other small things in it.

I have a bit of an issue I'm hoping someone can help with, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my defea but I am a very large person and only the defea strap fits comfortably across me at full stretch, I've tried the Reth and the Dee but no joy, they fit but sit just under my boob, which isn't a good look!

Are there any smaller-than-the-defea bags that have a longer strap than these two?

If you go to qvcuk.com and look for any Kipling bags that you like that are marked as "being especially made for QVC", all those bags have straps that are 14 cm longer than the standard Kipling straps. But as I said, only the Kipling bags that are especially made for QVC. Hope that helps!

Oh OK thanks! I now have my eye on another defea as well, I love the glacier blue one from the sale but I think it's just too similar to the turquoise one I have, so I want it in that rare vivid purple, which of course means I can't find it below £63 anywhere

Hi there - my erasto arrived today (£38 from amazon warehouse). I love it!
  • I also really like rtherapy's youtube podcast for so many Kipling bags and wish them good luck in the future.

I ordered the paisley print Reth from Kipling website and was surprised to see the shipment was coming from Belgium. I originally thought Kipling is an American brand as they have loads of designs (fabric patterns) that are not seen in the uk only available in the us.

    Hi Kadison,

Coming out of lurkdom to say I love my delphin. It holds a surprising amount and is very practical. It has a long strap too.

    Yes from Belguim originally.
And its not fair that they have so many different prints in USA.

A few sizes I know of:
    Delphine - 55 inches
    Nagato - 57 inches
    Louiza - 54 inches
    Alvar Duo - 52 inches
    Nani - 56 inches
    Rachele - 52 inches
    Elderado - 53 inches

The Reth is only 47 inches while the Defea you like is 58.

Snap - Kadison. I like a good fitting strap too ;)

Can vouch for Candy, Fairfax, Erasto, Gracy :)
