I got on the Kipling site this morning. I managed to get the glacier blue Defea which had sold out yesterday.

I don't think Amazon would be included, they're not an independant retailer really, not when anyone can sell items on their site and they have an affiliates program as well, so I wouldn't worry about it ;)

Feel bad for R Therapy their video's must sell hundreds and hundreds of kipling bags each year. I've found them really helpful whether or not I was buying from them or elsewhere. Seems a shame they are now being treated like this by kipling.

Oh I hope Amazon is not affected by this. Seems a shame they have to suffer though.

Can I ask had anyone got the firefly casual backpack? If so is it a good size? I don't need a really large one but big enough when out on days out and need to carry some lunch etc

Yes agree totally. We have often checked out their youtube stuff and its a shame for Kipling to be heavy handed with them now.

Hi, I have the Firefly and I use it every day. It's a bit small but I like it. But you can't really fit a newspaper/bottle of water in it as well as my other stuff, so might be a bit nippy for a day out, but then I like carrying a lot of rubbish.
I would avoid the larger Fundamental backpack though - it's awful to fasten.

Thanks jelly tots I imagined it being small going by measurements. I don't like the fundamental design. The frefly seems quite pricey for the size so might wait to see if any offers come up. :D

The Firefly has grown on me - and the small size stops me from throwing everything in it. It's also lovely and sturdy and good quality material. I ditched the long handle and just use the rucksack straps. It's also got lots of little pockets. I've been on the lookout for one that's slightly bigger for a while now but not too bulky.

I ordered from the kipling site recently for the first time and have to say service has been brilliant...free shipping with ups from Belgium puts many uk retailers to shame!!!!

I have a bit of an issue I'm hoping someone can help with, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my defea but I am a very large person and only the defea strap fits comfortably across me at full stretch, I've tried the Reth and the Dee but no joy, they fit but sit just under my boob, which isn't a good look!

Are there any smaller-than-the-defea bags that have a longer strap than these two?
