Has anyone noticed that the material of the newer kipling bags is inferior to the older ones. The fabric has a much cheaper and plasticky feel to it I commented to kipling and they said they would send the comment to the right department and get back to me but they didn't......I prefer not to buy the newer ones and keep to eBay.

I think it depends on the style. I bought a new Defea and Syro and the quality is just as good as it's always been, but a couple of others I bought were noticeably thinner.

Yes my Syro seems fine anyway too.

Watch out for the Blue Gracie as there is postage to add and no free returns.

Hi, my first post in the kipling forum but have been lurking as I really like their bags and find amazon prices so gooooooood. :o
I bought in the lightning deals: Kipling Shoulder Bag, GRACY, black (Lacquer Black 952), K10909
It was meant as a gift but I fell in love with it, and kept it. Now a few weeks of usage and the bag is beginning to become white in parts (creases) and losing the black. Has anyone experienced this problem before with lacquer black K bags? Not sure if I am describing this correctly...
Any help on what might be happening and what I can do about it?

    Thanks.

Have you contacted Amazon about it? I don't have a lacquer bag so don't know if there's anything you can do to stop it happening but I would guess if you contact Amazon (through live chat maybe) they will replace it for you. I've always found their customer services really helpful. :)

  • Hi ladies, does anyone have the Kipling Firefly backpack. I've read reviews on Amazon but thought I would see what you experts thought to it. I've got the Candy which is similar and I love and take on days but want something a bit bigger. I'm looking to use it for hand luggage when I fly and also to use when sight seeing. Just wondering if it was much bulkier to the Candy. Also would it fit in four passports, kindle fire, purse, camera, hand gel, tissues, small pack of wet wipes.

I like to have the bag as a back pack to keep my hands free and also find if I wear a bag on my shoulder for a long period of time I get shoulder ache. I'm open to any other suggestions of other bags that you would recommend for.

Anyone got the Stelma if this was big enough for the items listed above hubby could take a backpack for extra things we need for the kids and a bottle of water as I like the look of this bag too.

    Thank you for reading :)

I have a black lacquer bag but only a small one a hubei, had a few years not noticed any probs with it at all - I would def recommend contacting them to see what they say.
