I bought a syro as my first Kipling and I love it. The main compartment is divided in two though and I would prefer if it wasn't. Aside from that I can't fault the design as it has plenty of pockets to keep things organised and is the right size for me. I bought it for my holiday and it did the job really well.... I'm using it as my day to day bag now as it copes really well with the things I carry around regularly but doesn't look bulky or cumbersome.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0

You can never have too much 'bag chat'!
Here is the Syro on a person - it looks a good size and about the same as Gracy. I would much prefer it - don't like the velcro myself on Gracy and would definitely be harder to manage with one hand - zips much better.
Nice big main compartment and a nice divider in the middle - plus the extra back and front zips and a little velcro front pocket :

I think the Syro looks nicer than the Gracy. I've just never even considered it before because I always thought it was one of the smaller bags.
Looking at volumes it sounds like the Syro is massive - but I'm hoping that's just because it has the extra side pockets, whereas the Gracy really just has the one main pocket and not so much in the way of side pockets. Fingers crossed!
Found this review - now I think it looks lovely and I want one for myself!!!

I was also going to suggest the garan as this also looks like a lovely bag it's currently £39.50 in flower print and is also 8 litres
I do quite like the look of the Garan but I'm not sure about the zip pocket in the flapover section. I don't think Mum would ever use it, so it seems a waste of a pocket! Thanks for the suggestion though - I really appreciate it0 -
Hi, I have been thinking of ordering the Syro for my mum too, the Caffe Latte is only £32.50 at the moment on Amazon, but it looks really light in colour. Is it really more of a white than a beige?0

I've also been looking at this one http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_089010870994_-1 reduced in Debenhams, but that looks really light in colour as well?0

Scaredy_Cat wrote: »Need advice again please - same problem as before, I'm just hopeless at making decisions. I ordered the Reth and the Gracy so I could choose one for my Mum's birthday.
I like the Reth but I'm concerned Mum will find it confusing because of the number of pockets (which is exactly the reason I like it). She said the Defea was too big, and she has asked me to put the monkey onto the zip so it's easier for her to pull the zip - this makes me think she may find the Reth has too many pockets as I could only attach the monkey to one of them.
So I was leaning towards the Gracy, but I'm not sure if she would cope with the velcro pocket on the side. She can only use one hand, and the pocket has two velcro fasteners so it's possible the first one would re-attach while she's opening the second (if you see what I mean). I'm sure she could manage it, but I'm just wondering if there's an easier option.
I want to get one in flower print as I think she'll like that. What about the Syro? I always thought the Syro was small but the measurements on Amazon suggest it's bigger than the Reth.

Has anyone got the Syro and the Gracy, to compare side by side?
Or can anyone suggest a good option in flower print please? About the size of the Gracy?? Thanks
I'm now thinking the Syro would be a really good option as it has one main zip compartment plus pockets on both the front and the back so I think it would be better than the Gracy. Sorry to clog up the thread with this but I would really appreciate some advice from all you experts.
I have lyris for everyday which I love only has one side pocket and a slip in bit in between the bag and pocket. Downside no internal compartments but mine is light one so they don't have them in order to cut down on weight... I hate heavy bags to carry. But it can fit in phone purse a5 diary and still plenty of room. The syro is very similar size. I have the black laquer gracey and love it and is easily accessible with one hand I usually haves big folder to carry in the other.Updating .................................................
