I see Thorntons are up to their usual deceitful overpricing techniques again this year in order to shift the stuff. To suggest, as they do, that this selection was ever remotely worth the £100 RRP attributed to it is just plain ludicrous. The supermarkets are being stopped from this sort of thing - it's a shame that Thorntons are continuing to get away with it.

I agree.

If you have a store that has changed into an 'outlet' store the prices are much cheaper in there and for the exact same things!.

Is this because they can get away with the higher prices in certain areas and not others?

The santa and snowman figures in the outlet store near us are £3.25 and they are over £6.00 in other stores.
