where has my ADDRESS bar gone???

this mornig i was using the internet explorer with ease typing addresses into the address bar but i come home from work and hey presto it has gone.
on the left hand side of my screen it says "address" but when i hit it nothing happens.please help me restore the address bar to the normal place so i can use it.thanks

i have solved it by myself. i just draged the word address around until it fell into position.
a very happy moneysaver now.
