I vote for Lush, OH used to steal mine all the time so now I buy him his own for xmas. They do some manly ones but OH will happily use snow fairy shower gel that leaves him covered in glitter or anything else in the range.

    Yep, done that!

    Hi,

Do you know I've looked and there's not a lot about for men's bathing. Don't men take baths?!

This isn't strictly speaking for men but it doesn't smell especially girly. They do a lot of what I'd call unisex smelling stuff but no specific man's bubble bath.

I know it's expensive but a little does go a long way :)

Haha, mine actively prefers the glittery ones and buys them for me, then joins me in the bath :D. I know it's mainly for the glitter. It's the 'toy' element, sure of it.

    Amazing, isn't it?

I think many of them do but they like to keep it quiet. :rotfl:

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll mull them over. :)

alias - you have hit on a gap in the market! My OH loves bath stuffs and if my bubble bath doesnt smell too 'girly' he will nick it!
I havent seen 'gift sets' for men which include bubble bath - do manufacturers think that 'real men' only shower?
  • Real men do only shower. Seriously there isn't anything other than the tiniest of markets for men's bath sets. It's the very definition of a girly gift.

OMG - all those Welsh rugby guys thought that the after match bath was really macho - and the mens fragrance guys think its 'girly'! they havent researched the market properly!

Make up your own 'gift basket' alias!
tbh if funds allow you could sell similar at christmas markets etc - I would certainly buy one! :)

I am now going to nick alias's idea to make a gift basket for OH! he loves a bath and he loves bubble baths and bath bombs - as long as they arent 'flowery' smelling! and he isnt in the least 'girly'!

This might explain why I'm having so much trouble finding a giant box of bath bombs for the paramour.

He's a cheerful chap, confident in his masculinity, but because he's spent so much of his working life doing jobs like climbing up electricity pylons and driving heavy machinery, he's gotten into the habit of relaxing in a bath every day. A cold bath, unless it's the dead of winter, when it's tepid (yes, I think he's a nutter, but he's lovely and warm company. Lol)

Anyhow, when I left a tub of tiny (pastel!) bath cubes at his place that my friend had given me, he very happily supplemented his baths with them.

I'm trying to find another large tub without breaking the bank. If anyone sees such a thing at the pound shop, please do say! :)
  • I'm not saying no guys like them, but they're definitely the minority. If these started creeping into most guys Christmas stockings I think there would be a good few !!!!!! thoughts.

I guess it would be revenge for all the women who get gifts based on what the guy actually wanted though. For her the video game he is convinced will get her into gaming and not think it's a pointless waste of time, and for him the bath bomb set for a man who last took a bath in 1989! Have a very miserable Christmas one and all.

It's not perfect (has some shower gels in it) but it doesn't look too girlie:
