I've always used Low Cost Names and they are great. Also I hosted a couple of sites with them and I had to ring once or twice with upload problems and they were always very helpful, even on the occasion it was me doing something daft!!

https://www.asmallorange.com has always been my first port of call.
All the prices are in dolalrs, but when you consider we've know crashed thru the £1=$2 price mark it makes them even cheaper.

i work in IT managing domains and hosting and have to say the customer service at 1and1 is shocking. 123/pipex etc far better.

one and one have good value servers, but support is crap.
