Hi everybody
Does anyone know if you can use 18866 on Bulldog home line? Cos Bulldog broadband are offering 4MB broadband (no download limits) for 19.50 a month BUT you have to change your BT line to a Bulldog line (lBulldogs line rental is 10.50 a month, same as BTs). I can get 4MB broadband in my area so i'm very tempted by this offer.
Toodleloo!

You will more than likely find they block access to indirect carriers like 18866 and 1899, and even their 0808 numbers, they may even throw you off their service and charge you a fee.
Only BT has to allow access to these services.
Having read the terms:
we may bar the availability of certain numbers, Services or features at our sole discretion. We will use this discretion with regard to anomalous use of your Service in order to try to protect you from fraud or unauthorised usage, although we do not guarantee such protection. Without limitation this may include:
• call diversion to certain international numbers;
• calling card access numbers; and
• certain international destinations;
I would imagine like all the other providers who are offering line rental to previous BT lines, they will prevent access to 18866 and 1899.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
The 18866 code won't work, but the 0808 number might do.
In any case, why not use the VoIP version of the 18866 service...with 4M you'll hardly be short of bandwidth...I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0
