    I went for London on the basis that with all the trains & coaches from major cities & towns going there it would probably be easier for the majority of people (me included ;))

    Of course, you're all welcome to come visit me in Pompey - although only a pebble beach, no sand I'm afraid!

    Ok all,
    I'm really not bothered either way-I LOVE London, never been to Blackpool. My only (slight) issue with London is that it is so DARN expensive, however, I can get my train tickets cheap ;) or I'm sure there is a few that can share a drive (ie. Sammy, IA, moi, any other Midlanders)

    What about suggested dates?
    We're off to Canada mid-June for 3 weeks and moving on May 4th so really, the next bit for me is a no-go, after July would be better-anyone else have some suggestions?
