Is 16 days an acceptable time to wait for a package from Tesco?

I'm just really annoyed.
EVERY TIME I order from Direct there's an issue, it's really bad.
It's been 16 days since I ordered. I contacted Direct last week to ask when to expect it, as online it states Tuesday 13th November. Fine...no probs.
It's just so nippy. I asked them if they can give me a refund as I'm on holiday tomorrow, so don't want any packages to be left with anyone etc, had one go missing before (not from Tesco) but they can't cancel my order.
Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
End Rant.

If you work for Mr T then you know that the whole computer network went down for nearly a week and all problems are still not resolved. Problems ranging from Direct problems to stock control and re-merchandising xWins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0

What would make you think I would know that? lol. I work there 1 day a week, on a Sunday. Last I heard was the 3 for 2 Toy issue was the last problem. Nothing to do with any other system going down...and honestly, they should have better systems in place?
This is like the 4th or 5th order I've had an issue with, the 10% discount isn't worth this toruble0 -
Ring them on the CS line, quote the order to find out the status. Either, it's in transit from an outside supplier - though that should have shown up when you did the order, or at the designated store, or even another store in the area. Finally, the carrier might have 'lost' it, but that seems doubtful with all the tracking ability they have.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0
