Alton Towers fastrack complaint

I purchased 5 fastrack tickets for 13 and it was broken.
i returned for a refund and was refused and told I could use it another day or exchange for another ride.
There was nothing I could do as this young girl had her orders.
We got on another ride because we had no option.
Am I entitled by law to get a refund?
I have complained and they are refusing a refund saying they were right to deny it.

Alton towers booking terms and conditions state the following in regard to fast track tickets:
"Alton Towers reserves the right to transfer tickets to another date at any time or offer an alternative ride in case of ride breakdown".

As you accepted the transfer to another ride then I wouldn't have thought that you are entitled to a refund.0 -
So they transferred your fasttrack tickets to another ride and you used them?
I don't see a problem. You paid for fasttrack and got it. For a different ride but they don't guarantee every ride is working all the time. They are very complex rides and sometimes they do break down.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
No harm in banging a letter (NOT EMAIL) off.
They may or may not compensate in some way. I complained a few years back that they took a show off, spoiling my nephew's birthday.
He got a huge box of cuddly toys of the character as an apology. So worth a shot.
And TBH, you aren't missing much by not going on 13Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

i used it because I had no option. they don't deny this happened.
I still haven't tried the ride, I only bought the tickets for this ride for that reason. What was I to do... take home scrap tickets or use them. they forced my hand.
I think the sale of goods act overides here. they did not have the product they were selling. I could not read the terms and conditions. How could anyone. hiding behing that doesn't wash0 -
so. Lets say I'm right what now. Take them to court? lol
