Hi all.
Was wondering if any Nexus users have a problem with the power button.Spent all day yesterday setting it up for grandsons Christmas present. All finished and working superb until I tried to power off.It will not power off at all.According to the instructions, to power off just press the power button for a few seconds and you get a prompt asking you if you want to power off,I am not getting this message and if i press the Switch for too long the tablet reboots. Also I have set sleep mode for 2 minuets which it does but after a few seconds it turns itself back on and stays on.My last resort was to reset it to factory settings which is where it is now but still cannot turn it off or get it to stay sleeping.any help would be grateful,

it's all to do with how long you hold the button.
Single quick press = screen off
Hold for a second then release = menu
Long hold for 5-10 seconds = rebootLaters

Hi Soltaire.Thank you for your reply.Have tried the different ways to turn it off with no luck so daughter took it back to Asda today for them to look at and they could not switch it off neither so they gave her a refund to get another one. So hopefully the new one will act differently.0
