hi just need some advice i am really not that good with computers.
basically we will be selling our computer and just wondering how do we set out computer so all our pictures and stuff are no longer on there?? is it a simple process

It depends how thoroughly you want to do it, usually if the machine is on the original drive it's fairly easy to restore it back to factory settings although the process varies depending on what machine it is you have. However while this will wipe the drive and put a fresh copy of the operating system back on, it's likely that at least some of your personal data would be fairly easy to retrieve by the person who bought the PC.

Make and model would assist, but most modern PC's offer a Factory Restore. Otherwise do a clean install of the OS.No free lunch, and no free laptop
