Possibly the 24th as the 25th is not a bank holiday - just a public one.0

The GOV web site seems to disagree..

Last year, my pension which was due on Monday 26th, was paid on the previous Friday. I expect the Tuesday payments will be paid on Monday 24th, as the banks are open. Hope that helps.

That's actually quite funny - the bank holidays part. I used to work for the government in the 80's-90's and believe me they were not called bank holidays - they were always public holidays, every one got them and no one got paid any money for them. However if I work on a bank holiday then I get double pay. That is the difference as I have always understood it.The GOV web site seems to disagree..

But knowing our government it is probably some form of dumbing down for the masses of people who reside in this country - and no I am not suggesting anyoe is dumb or stupid - but our government seem to think a lot of us are! However I thank you for that link.0
