virgin central charges be aware!

my girlfriend has just received her virgin central bill only to find it included nearly £30 of extra charges for watching virgin central programmes, mainly the Alias series. There is no mention of costs as it just says subscribed.Just thought others should be made aware as if you watch a lot of tv on demand you may get heavily stung! Called virgin and after no help this afternoon this evening they have refunded after a lengthy discussion and stated that they have the wrong information coming up on screen and it needs to be looked at.All this to the people that stayed loyal throughout the sky fiasco and after all the plugging that the virgin central channel was a replacement to sky 1 etc,now they have hidden charges on that!

Strange . Virgin Central should be free to all VM TV customers , esp if its says Subscribed . I'd keep an eye on it and give them hell if you get charged again for something that doesnt have a price on it .0

Thanks. We watch a lot of "on demand" which appears to be free. I'll look at the next bill carefully. Can I help?0

Thats what I would have thought. I read a leaflet that we had through from them about it and it stated that unless you were on the XL package I think then you had to pay for it.
May be wrong though0 -
Virgin Central is free, unequivocally.
That's what the nice lady on 150 just told me.0 -
Ive always thought of it as a free service. The girl she spoke to started off offering half the money back then 2/3 rds then eventually all of it.She also wanted her to phone them back to report a fault of which my partner said Ive reported it to you!0

TV Choice On Demand / Teleport TV is £5 a month unless you have XL TV (it is free for 3 months from Feb for ALL TV customers) . I'm pretty sure Virgin Central is permanently free to all TV customers , as its purely a taster for the proper On Demand services .0
