How to clean plaster off vinyl floor?

Hi, whats the best way to clean plaster (wet plaster split onto the floor) off the floor please?
Using water and washing up liquid or just water seems to have just smeared it about. It looks great when wet but still white smears from the plaster when dry.

thats about all you can do apart from polishing with dry cloth after to get the "powder" offif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0
