WLM/Hotmail problems

Hello.
In the past week i have had problem staying connected through WLM.
When i first boot up computer and log into WLM it tells me if i have any emails and i go to the inbox and check them. After about 1/2 mins windows Live Messenger signd itself out. If i go to sign in the sign in window pos up and i enter detais but the WLM icon on the taskbar says i am logged in but then if i click on inbox a window opens but it wont connect to hotmail its just a blank IE page.
The only way i have kept logged in is when i first log on i open hotmail and then i have to keep that webpage open all the time if not WLM logs off.
A few days before this happened i lost connection to my Sky broadband for 2/3 hours and i rebooted the router and all was good.
I have done Spybot, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware and Microsoft Security and they all came back ok.
I also have done a system restore to before i had the problem but that never got rid of it.
Any help much welcome.

The problem still exists.
I uninstalled WLM and put on Windows Essentials 2012 and that was ok for 3 days but i didnt like the layout of it so i uninstalled that and put back the WLM and the same thing happens.
The only way to stay logged on is to keep the IE window open all the time. If i shutdown that window i get logged out within 2/3 mins and then i have to close down WLM and restart it again to log back into WLM to get my emails.
Any ideas would be a great help.0 -
