N Power switch delay

I went to switch to NPower Jan 14 discounted tariff via energyhelpline in early November and informed my current supplier Ebico which should have meant as long as Npower contacted them within 2 weeks I would not be charged Ebico increased tariff from 4th December. Now get letter from NPower saying switch may be delayed for up to 2 months due to them introducing a new account management system! So much for easy switching!
