DLA , How do we apply for higher rate ?

At the moment my o/h gets HR Mobility and LR Care , over the last 9 months her care is getting more & more needed to be assisited and helped by myself and her sister , can we apply for the Care component to be raised ? How do we do this , if yes .
Are there things we should be aware of when making a increase claim ?
Many thanks for any replies :)

    In theory you don't.

You complete the forms with your care needs etc and then they decide what level to award you based on your needs.

You should be aware they will look at all your awards and its possible you may end up with less than you have now,eg mobility could be reduced or removed altogether, good luck.
