· Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS and SMS at 6.00 p.m. on Saturday 8 December 2012 as stated in the Programme.

· Prize Draw closes for entries online at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 13 December 2012.

Within 24 hours of the closing date and time for all entries

The prize is time critical and the winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the draw date in accordance with Clause 4.2 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms

How to enter & cost of entry:

To enter this Prize Draw, simply submit your name and information via:

· Online – go to www.itv.com, www.stv.tv or www.u.tv and follow the instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number provided.

· PRTS Phone - call 0904 161 9777 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line; up to 6 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the Prize Draw a third time without additional charge. This can be repeated to reach the 6 entries per phone number limit. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.

· SMS text – send an SMS text with or without the keyword WIN to 88323. The keyword is not required information so SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged; up to 6 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the Prize Draw via SMS a second time using the same mobile number. Entrants who send a second SMS text using the same mobile number to 88323 by the closing date and time will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge. This process may be repeated to reach the 6 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s chargeable SMS text entries costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message. If you do not want to receive SMS marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your SMS text entry.

Prize:

There is one prize consisting of:

a) Cash

A cheque for £25,000 (twenty five thousand pounds) made payable in the name of the entrant only. A signature may be required upon delivery.

b) Holiday

A seven-night trip for the winner and three companions to Barbados. The prize includes return economy class flights from London Heathrow Airport to Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados, return transfers from the airport in Barbados to the resort and accommodation at the Royal Westmoreland Golf & Spa Resort based on four people sharing a four bedroom villa with private pool on a room only basis. Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the villa for security deposit purposes. The prize must be booked and taken up between 15 January 2013 and 15 December 2013. Please note that the winner must give the prize provider at least six (6) weeks’ notice of the date on which they wish to take up the trip.

The prize also includes:

• a half-day spa treatment for four people at the Royal Westmoreland Indulgence Spa;
• a Catamaran Cruise around the island for the winner and their companions. The cruise is available daily, lasts approximately five hours and includes a buffet-style lunch, unlimited drinks including cocktails, snorkeling equipment and return hotel transfers; and
• a three-course private dinner for the winner and their companions with two bottles of wine, prepared in the villa by a personal chef.

Where any of the winner’s companions are aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize. The winner and their companions must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Barbados. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party, and (ii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the prize provider. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. Please note that airlines will require women who are 28 weeks’ pregnant or more to provide a fitness note from their GP or midwife in order to fly.

Travel insurance will be provided for the winner and their companions for the duration of the trip, subject to the restrictions and terms and conditions of the insurance provider. Any additional costs relating to obtaining cover for pre-existing medical conditions or on account of an individual being aged over 74 years old must be met by the winners or their companions.

It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements to Barbados. It is the responsibility of the winner to adhere to the local laws in Barbados, including but not limited to the legal age for buying, drinking and possessing alcoholic beverages, which is 18 years or over.

The prize excludes ground transport to and from London Heathrow Airport, meals and drinks, excursions (other than those specified above), attractions, treatments (other than those specified above), car hire, personal expenses, and visas and vaccinations. It is recommended that the winner and their companions contact their GP around eight (8) weeks before the trip to check whether they need any vaccinations or other preventative measures.

Previous X Factor comps have included tickets for X Factor shows, which made those comps time critical. I think they have just left it in my mistake this time.

Thanks One-Eye. I was scanning the t&c over and over to see if I had missed anything!

I'm quite surprised that the prize doesn't include any tickets though. Must have given them all away already!
