Just wanted to say thanks for all the Happy birthdays!
    Hey 30's not so bad!
Right after my original post I got a text from a friend saying what u doing last night of 20's.I was intending to organise house, cook etc for party on friday.Any way ended up sacking that idea and went round to hers to drink wine, and had a great few days since.
Spent my birthday morning putting up a big parachute in the garden for a shelter, with a friend. It was held up with three long poles, the wind was so strong it kept blowing it from us,with amazing strength,it was quite exhilarating I was imagining I was parachuting and sailing(I have a great child like imagination still!)
    Went shopping with sister pm.
Had a great birthday party Friday night,(hippy style!)We are very lucky to rent a house with a fantastic garden, had a big bonfire and loads of fairy lights and candles.the parachute stayed up well, and the kids were all fantastically behaved and happy bouncing on the trampoline.Drank far too much and was up till gone 4am.|Got up next day and didn't even have a hangover!Party kept on going all day, then I went into town to see a band saturday night(which I rarely do)So all great fun!!!
It's still a bit scary to think I'm 30 though,I did expect to be a bit more secure by this great age! And I still feel like a kid,I don't think I'l grow up ever though!
After such a positive start I'm feeling quite optimistic,I've decided I just don't have to care what other people think of me any more, just be myself, stop judging myself so criticaly, wear what I want etc.

I'm 30 in September. Keep thinking about it and hope that something will just switch and all of a sudden I will stop worrying about things and become happier! Not going to happen I know.

I keep thinking about all the things I haven't done before i am 30.

Hey maybe something will switch for you too.I do kind of feel like I just don't have to worry so much.By your name I guess you also have 3 kids and no money, like me!
I feel like my 20's I kind of lost myself in the whirl wind of being Mum,had 1st when I was 21,and youngest is now nearly 4.It was really apparant from my birthday weekend that they are all growing up,it was the first bonfire party we've had where I could relax a bit,and know they have there own sense of safety now and common sense. They don't need me quite as much as they seem to of done for the last few years.my youngest will be at school in January.I never went to university, So my 30's are going to be a bit more about me.I can go out all night get a little sloshed and not have to worry about breastfeeding duties etc.I seemed to have years of only one drink, and rushing home after a couple of hours.I only passed my driving test in October,so thats really opened up my world(living out in the countryside). So turning 30 isn't quite so bad, thinking about it if I owned the house we live in and there was a bit more cash in the bank, life would be pretty perfect.I have 3 healthy kids, partner who loves me ,family around,health.....
